Incontinence underwear is disposable adult underwear for bladder leaks. You wear it in place of your regular underwear, and it pulls on and off the same way. Tear-away side seams let you take it off without removing your shoes or pants. You may also see it called protection underwear, protective underwear, adult pull-ups or disposable incontinence pants.

Pull-on underwear, tabbed briefs, or pads?

The three formats solve different problems. Usually the choice comes down to mobility, not just leak volume.

• Pull-on incontinence underwear suits anyone who dresses themselves and is moving around during the day. It looks and feels closest to regular adult underwear.
• Tabbed briefs open flat and refasten at the hips, so they can be changed while someone is lying down. That helps with bedbound care or caregiver changes.
• Pads and guards sit inside your own underwear. They are the least bulky option for lighter, occasional leaks.

Choosing an absorbency level

Absorbency is quoted per product in cups of liquid. Choose a lighter level for daytime wear when you can change every few hours, and overnight / overnight-plus when you want to sleep through. The absorbency figure for each product is on its PDP.

Figures are cups of liquid held by one product, measured the same way across every line. If capacity is the only gap, add a booster pad inside rather than sizing up. The booster has no plastic backing, so liquid passes through into the underwear beneath.

Measure around the widest part of your waist and hips, then match it to the inch range on the product page. Sizes differ by line, and our Premium styles go up to XX-Large (64 to 80 in).
