Adjustable Quad Cane

A quad cane is used to provide stability to those with minor mobility issues. A quad cane is good for those who need more stability than a single-point walking cane, but do not need a walker.

A small base quad cane is a cane that has four touchpoints on the small base as opposed to just one. They are a step up in mobility from a standard, single-point walking cane.

A quad stick is a better mobility aid than a walking stick for several reasons:

1. A quad stick has four touchpoints making it more stable
2. A quad cane is adjustable to the users height whereas walking sticks are often not adjustable

First ensure that you are holding the cane correctly. You should be holding the cane in your dominant hand with a firm but comfortable grasp. Do not hold so firmly that you tire or pain your hand.

Slightly bend your elbow into a natural, relaxed position. Do not over extend your elbow or keep it stiff.

Keep your torso upright while moving and swing the quad cane forward with each step in line with your opposite foot.
