Incontinence underwear is designed to provide protection and absorbency for those who experience urinary or fecal incontinence. Incontinence underwear is worn similarly to regular underwear, but it comes with added layers of absorbent material. These materials quickly absorb large amounts of liquid to keep you dry and prevent leaks.
How long can you wear incontinence underwear?
How long you can wear incontinence underwear depends on the absorbency level of the underwear and your specific needs. Some incontinence underwear is designed for light to moderate leaks, while others like Because brand's overnight absorbency underwear is designed for heavier leaks and can be worn longer.
Generally, it's a good idea to change underwear as soon as it becomes soiled to prevent skin irritation.
How do I tell which side is the front and which side is the back?
You can tell which side of Because underwear is the back by looking for the size indicator. The side with the size indicator is the back.
How should I choose the right size of incontinence underwear?
Choosing the right size of incontinence underwear is crucial for optimal comfort and effectiveness. To find the appropriate size, you should measure your waist and hip circumference and review our size chart to determine the right size.
Avoid choosing a size that is too tight, as it may lead to discomfort and create pressure points. On the other hand, selecting a size too large could result in inadequate protection and leakage.
A well-fitting incontinence garment should be snug but not overly tight, with proper coverage and containment for your specific body shape and needs.
Can you use period underwear for incontinence?
Period underwear and incontinence underwear share some similarities in terms of design, but they are very different when it comes to construction and absorbency levels.
Period underwear typically absorbs 25 mL of liquid, or one-tenth of a cup. Because incontinence underwear is designed to hold between 946 mL and 1400 mL of liquid, or 4-6 cups.
Individuals with moderate to heavier leaks should choose incontinence underwear over menstrual underwear if their goal is to prevent leaks and maintain proper hygiene and comfort.

Reviews
Because is the best
"I only draw SS check ut the quality of the Because pull ups snf extra wider cleaning wash cloths csnt be beat. I have tried several brands and there’s no comparing them- the other brands dont always fit and have been out and one time leakage my clothes are wet. Have tried other brands because get more items in their packages for about same price but Because products are more padded you do t havre to several times a day if you are not home with several extra items. Because items pulls moisture away from you skin to protect it ."

Because briefs
"The because premium briefs have been my go to for years. They are comfortable, hold a lot of liquid. . . which I really need! They are soft AND there is no odor! My only wish is that the thin top covering would go all the way up in the back. I am in bed a lot and the stretchy part can rub on my tailbone and be uncomfortable. Overall I highly recommend this product."

"I very seldom have bathroom breaks at night since changing to Because briefs. The only quurk I have is receiving a new monthly subscription when I have lots of briefs on hand!"
— Kay S. (5/5)
I like the underwear but
"I like the underwear but the 1 X are too tight and the 2X are so big I have to wear regular underwear over them to keep them in place. The absorption is very good."
— Kathy L. (5/5)
Comfortable
"Because underwear are very comfortable allowing for breathing. I like that they have a permanent “tag” on the back so I know which way is front. The discounts are pretty good, as well."

I don’t need three packages
"I don’t need three packages to store! I just yesterday opened one of the three, I only use one at night! I used to get the option to skip a month, they never honored my request and now they just keep coming whether I need them or not!"
— Judy C. (5/5)
Premium Maximum Plus underwear
"Some change's but still the best underwear around. “Because”"
— Loretta H. (5/5)
NOT QUITE ENOUGH
"I use these because they are the best I have found BUT they don't hold as much as you say they do. I have to wear a #8 (heavy) Poise pad with each one. I tried your pads and they are much too bulky. You need to increase the liquid capacity a good bit."
